Himax Technologies designs, develops and markets semiconductors as an important part of flat panel displays. The company's main products are large-size TFT-LCD panels, which are used in desktop computer monitors, notebook computers and TVs, as well as display drivers for small and medium-sized TFT-LCD panels, which are used in mobile phones and display drivers for consumer electronics. Such as laptops, digital cameras, mobile gaming devices, portable DVD players, digital photo frames and car navigation displays. Himax is expanding its product range to include timing controllers, chipset solutions for LCD TVs and monitors, LCOS projector solutions, power management ICs, CMOS image sensors, infinite color technology and 2D to 3D solutions.
