Global Power Technologies Group, (GPTG) is an integrated development and manufacturing company focused on silicon carbide (SiC) based technology and amorphous magnetic materials. These products will be the foundation of the power electronics and energy industry in the next few years, advanced technology is necessary for low cost, high efficiency power generation, conversion and transmission. Products are being commercialized and under development including silicon carbide epitaxial wafers and silicon carbide discrete power devices, as well as SiC-based power modules and subsystems for electric/hybrid electric vehicles, servers, solar inverters, lighting and power industries. The fast switching of the SiC technology based on the new amorphous magnetic material is also part of the GPTG technology combination.
